Kelp Lake is situated at the c0.0.15a/c0.0.14a_08 map border. It originated from a body of water from the c0.0.14a_08 map that coincidently connected to a small body of water in the c0.0.15a map. The lake and surroundings was then terraformed by [[CrumbledHam|Players/CrumbledHam]] to make the transition from c0.0.15a terrain to c0.0.14a_08 look seamless. Kelp Lake was given its name by the leaves in the water resembling kelp.

As of c0.0.23a_01, there is now a town around it built by Bluestaggo, a floating island built by [[CrumbledHam|Players/CrumbledHam]] & Bluestaggo and a temple by [[CrumbledHam|Players/CrumbledHam]].
